Announcements

  • Battle of the Books starts October 2016 for 3rd and 4th graders.  The schedule of meetings for the year including competition dates.
  • Database login information will be going home soon after the beginning of the year.
  • Students take the AR STAR test during the first couple of weeks of school and start taking quizzes soon after that.
  • Parents can check on their child's Accelerated Reader progress by going to Renaissance Home Connect.

Library Information & Book Checkout Policy

Kindergarten and 1st grade -  one book at a time
2nd grade - one book at a time at first moving to two books at a time during the year

3rd and 4th grade - two books at a time.

Books are checked out for a two-week period but can be returned each week during library time or any time during open library time..

There is no checkout available for students with overdue books.

Parents, please help to ensure your child is a good library citizen and returns his/her book on time.

Access to search for books in our school library may be done from the classroom, or home, by visiting the Destiny web site.
