START WITH HELLO WEEK - SEPTEMBER 19TH – 22ND

Hello Week is a week that brings awareness to social isolation. We will unite to take a visible stand on connection and inclusivity. Hello week teaches students the skills they need to identify someone alone, reach out, and include those who may be dealing with chronic isolation.
Monday 19th: “Say Hey Day” Say Hello to anyone you meet on campus today. All students will wear name tags so they can call each friend by name when they greet them. (Mrs. Williams will provide each teacher with name tags for their students.)
Tuesday 20th: Wear Tie-Dye to “Spread Positive Vibes” Send a Hello-Gram to a classmate.
Wednesday 21st: Wear Green- show kindness- “GO meet a new friend.” Let’s reach out to others by sitting by someone new at lunch, playing with a new friend at recess, or helping a classmate.
Thursday 22nd: “ Trusted Adult Thursday,” Say Hello to a trusted adult and send a thank you note to them.
